Short Poem: Your Coming

You came shining than light,

Illuminating the deep darkness of my heart,

Which existed for many years,

Displacing its immortality.

You came like a rushing water,

Granting succor to my dry land,

A fruitless forgotten desert,

Void of an atom of hope.

You came like an accident,

Destroying my hopelessness,

So I could see farther,

Beyond my present situation.

You came like a mistake,

Was never expected,

Yet the best thing to have ever happened to me,

To a dying soul.

You came like a star,

Giving me a reason to try,

Ressurecting the dead good things in me,

Killing the otherwise.

I am grateful to have encountered that accident,

I am grateful to have allowed the light,

I am grateful to have been swept by the water,

Thanks for making my life shine like a star.

What I Do To Pain!

I ink down my pain, and hope it

Disappears from my pen.

I voice out my grieve,

And hope it disappears from my head.

I walk out of my past,

And hope I escape the thought.

I do all these,

But they keep coming back to me.

My Best Consolation

I laugh even in pain,

It is the best consolation I give to myself.

I suddenly realized I started concealing my pains with laughter. It was not intentional, it just happened and I think I love it.

Short Poetry: Blinded Sun

It all appeared promising like the after-snow,

Another opportunity to imprint old ideas on the new year,

And to realize new ideas alongside the old,

This rare opportunity wouldn’t go a waste,

Many had thought,

Until a dark cloud from the previous year,

Began to blind the glory of the sky more intensely,

Like a play it seemed at the beginning,

Darkness overshadowing light was an impossibility,

But that faded away with the past,

The light couldn’t sustain the pressure enacted on it,

Until it gave in to be erased,

By the new form of darkness — the threat.

———

The earth saw the sky weep,

But before it could prepare to wage a war,

The darkness had descended upon it,

Leaving no sod unvisited,

As it moved in great speed and power,

And all the inhabitants of the earth could do,

Was to hide in their little holes,

Hoping the visitor would give up and leave,

And a sign will beam forth from the sky;

The beautiful light it once emanated.

———

But the visitor wouldn’t give up,

It had grew even stronger,

Waiting at every entrance,

Knowing fully well the hiders would be forced out,

Due to their proneness to hunger,

And as fathomed,

The hiders had left their little holes,

But with preparedness,

With masks printed on their faces,

Since its passage into every hombre was known,

But it kept fighting,

Not ready to succumb to their science.

———

The world remains masked,

And the fight continues,

The year seems wasted,

The uncertainty it brought had been a great cry to all,

While some dreams are achievable,

Some may never get to be ignited yet,

While some other ideas are forced to birth,

The war has come,

And it has come to stay,

We have to live with it,

And hope that we live to behold that day;

When the world surges victorious,

And the sky is unveiled.

Life and I

I had my plans,
But life had its own plans…

I worked effortlessly to have mine achieved,
But life watched as I fruitlessly achieved my desires…

I did not give up but depended on my understanding,
Life didn’t have to struggle but taught me a big lesson…

I ran back to the one I thought I could do without,
Life never loved the idea I brought on my table…

I was back to the one who created life,
Life watched me at its creator’s feet…

The creator gave me dominion over all he created,
Life had no choice but to succumb to my authority…

I became a god,
But life ended up my messenger.

Hello readers and followers, I greet you all…

The eyes of a god

It has been long since I last wrote a poem,

I hope I found its pen!

I feel like a god,
Even though I’m not one.

I feel I can go forever without a meal,
Could this be possible?

But of a surety, my life would end,
That would be the day I fail to feed my eyes.

My eyes have taken over the duty of my mouth,
Only a specific delicacy I enjoy.

I’m satisfied with this meal,
I don’t pray I go a day without eating.

My mouth had better gone dry,
A mere passage to my stomach.

You are my indispensable daily meal,
The one who powers my heart.

It has been a long time…

Right in Your Heart

The stars may be bright
But you’re the brightest
Others may be beautiful
But you’re the most beautiful

Your love for me is gold
I’d pick it over money
Your heart is home
I’ll live there till I’m old

My day and night,
I want to spend with you
Even in life and death
I hope we stay glued

Your heart of affection
Has encompassed me
My lost heart
Has found a resting place

I love you
That is what my mind sings
I adore you
That is what my heart beats

This sincerity
A glimpse of my heart
My love for you
As pure as the morning dew

Coronized

Out of the dark
Eating up lives

Instilling fear
A one-man army

Both the rich and poor
No one is spared

Killing thousands
Death becoming a norm

The worst virus
King of all diseases

Cities closed down
Man’s only weapon

A biological weapon
The world leaders believe

A punishment from God
How religious leaders see it

Whatever it may be
Needs to get the hell out

Ascend Your Throne (Short Poem)

Take a break
For their sake,
Not a take,
Just a wake.

Leave the dust,
Get the lost,
Kick out lust,
Make a burst

Take the crown,
Mute the frown,
Stop the pawn,
Control the town.

Frightening mercy,
Give the messy,
Even the lazy,
Without heresy
