THE LIGHT IS COME

The world was so dark,
Full of evil.
The earth was so dry,
Benched for sorrow.

Life was like hell,
A moment of silence from God.
Generations lived away,
Waiting for the chosen.

One day, a light shun from the darkness,
And darkness could not withhold it.
The eyes of men were so blind,
Only a few recognized it.

The light kept shining,
Throughout the human race.
Though many could not see it from inception,
It rules the world today.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

EVE

Streets painted with lights,
To give a glow of the season.

People tensed in work,
Anticipating the sight of the festival.

Animals breathing their last,
Destined to be used for the glory.

Winter blowing its awesome breeze,
Reminding us of the birth.

Everything working out its own duty,
‘Coz it’s Christmas eve.

Merry Christmas in advance…
