We Played Love

That careless night
Our lips interlocked

Enjoying the toothless breeze
Beating from every direction

My hands itching upon your seductive skin
Our breath fading away like smoke in thin air

An indelible moment
When we shamelessly played naked under the bare moon

Dancing happily to the melodious tone carved from your moan
Gallantly unmoved by the beaming eyes of the Almighty

Smiles broadly drawn upon our faces
Without a knowledge of the consequences of our action

TRUSTWORTHINESS

Trustworthy people most times are mistaken for fools. They are perceived as unsmart. Our world of today inhabits folks who cannot be trusted.
The world believes you must be “smart/untrustworthy to make it in life. It is now a normal believe that you have to be dubious if you won’t die a poor man.
These set of people will tell you there is no benefits in being trustworthy and they will even mock you when you try playing “unsmart”.
However, a case study on trustworthiness will help you know there are benefits to being trustworthy. Much more than you can think. Meanwhile, you should not choose to be trustworthy because of some benefits you think might be attached to it. Make it a part of your living. Something you do always.
When you gain people’s trust, they tend to love you and give you more responsibilities to handle. If you are dubious, it is certain you won’t get any other job from that individual you scammed and that individual may block your opportunities of getting jobs from others. He talks ill about you, and before you know it, it circulates and no one at all wants to give you any contract. You don’t even realize it.
The trustworthy man gets his clients to introduce him to more people who also connect him to others. This is just one benefit out of many.
I’m just using the “contactor” here as an example. In whatever you do, be trustworthy. It pays a lot.

Back To The Source

Let’s go back to the root,
Where our fruit of affection sprouted,
With a river of water,
To wet it daily,
So it’d not die again.

Let’s go back in time,
To the street where we first shared a kiss,
With a bucket of recollection,
To hold it permanently,
So the memory wouldn’t wither.

Let’s go back to the gate,
Which we forced open to dwell in its heart,
With the locks of our hearts,
To seal it permanently upon ourselves,
So the strangers don’t get to crow.

Let’s go back to the road,
Where our journey first began,
With a packet of matured steps,
To walk it perfectly,
So we don’t get to separate ever again.

YOU ARE IMPORTANT

Stop thinking you have no relevance. Don’t give up on yourself. There’s a destiny you must fulfill. Don’t let your carelessness or attitude hinder you from achieving it.
It is in me, it is in you to be make a impact.
We are destiny carriers. Let’s influence the world.

RIGHT MAN

His colour might not be white
Not necessarily your love at first sight

It might be difficult for him to get a bite
And lack creativity in making an ordinary kite

He might be deprived the strength to winning a fight
Popularly known to possess a pocket so light and tight

But a day comes, when his subsistence shall glow bright
When he would be your great knight

A time he would journey with you on a flight
To a world embodied with so much delight

BREAKTHROUGH

In the clouds,
Observing others pick their stars,
Waiting for the right time,
When I shall get to illuminate one.

At the junction,
Observing others progress,
Waiting for the right time,
When I shall be put into motion.

On the beach,
Observing others quench their thirst,
Waiting for the right time,
When I shall get my tongue wet.

Under the shed,
Observing others take a nap,
Waiting for the right time,
When I shall get to rest.

Finally Illuminating the light,
With fast speed,
And my wet tongue,
Getting a good sleep.

DEATH I SEE

Stuck to my bed,
Stretched out for breath,
With a vision of death,
Anticipating the trip with dread.

My body seemed light,
Wild beams appeared from the thick night,
I gave my life the last fight,
But the strength I couldn’t ignite.

Soul out of the decaying,
Moving towards the calling,
By a mighty force pulling,
Into the after world as I journey.
